The Rambling Wanderer evolved from my lifelong love of the outdoors. My photography is inspired by the timeless peace and beauty of “wilderness.” Everything that breathes life is art – mountains, trees, rivers, animals, human beings, Earth itself. I want my photos to transport the viewers to my discovered havens, piquing their imaginations and their senses. I enjoy seeking out the secret spaces and hidden places anywhere I go. My heart belongs to travel and exploration. Whether you’re in the middle of the city or the middle of the forest, or even on a white sand beach, there is always a place, a spot, a perspective that lays undiscovered, untouched. The forest has always been a haven that immediately clears my head. A hike is a journey in not only miles but knowledge. A recurring theme in my photography is the concept of the wilderness as a haven, a scapegoat, a solution — a curious world where questions are answered by the simple act of “being.”
