Trailhead Directions: From exit 16 on the NYS Thruway, exit and take the exit for 17-South. Turn LEFT and take the 2nd LEFT onto US-6, up the Long Mountain Parkway. In 4.5 miles come to a road on your LEFT.  Turn here and follow to trailhead parking.

Hike Directions: Follow the clearly marked TEAL-BLAZED Long Path for a half mile to the Torrey Memorial. Retrace your steps back down the precipice of Long Mountain and after a quarter mile swing a LEFT onto RED-BLAZED trail.  Follow the Red Blazes for a half mile before reaching the western shore of Turkey Hill Lake.  Stay with the Red Blazes for another half mile as you walk around the lake’s southern edges.  Turn LEFT continuing onto Summer Hill Road, which takes you around the east side of the lake.  Enjoy and retrace your steps: make a RIGHT onto the RED BLAZED trail, and then make a LEFT on the TEAL-BLAZED Long Path back to your car.
