Trailhead Directions: Take I-5 to the Genessee Avenue exit and follow signs toward Torrey Pines. At the intersection of North Torrey Pines Road and Genessee, keep to the right and continue along North Torrey Pines Road for 1.9 miles to the Torrey Pines State Reserve Tollhouse. Continue past the tollhouse and uphill to the Torrey Pines Lodge Parking Area. Walk down the hill to the Guy Fleming Trailhead.
Hike Directions: EFrom the trailhead, walk along the trail to an intersection under a pine canopy. Continue to the right and soon arrive at a scenic overlook to the north, with views of Torrey Pines State Beach and Penasquitos Lagoon. Continue around the loop on the sandy trail to a second overlook, this time facing south over Black’s Beach, with La Jolla in the distance. The trail moves slightly uphill to eventually return to the intersection where you’ll keep to the right, arriving at the trailhead in a few hundred feet.
