Hike Directions: From the roadside parking, follow the RED-BLAZES (on the same side of the road as your car) into the woods for half mile before reaching the top of Black Rock Mountain, with good views to the west and north.  Continue over the mountain and after 0.9 miles, reach an intersection with white and yellow blazes.  Stay on the RED BLAZES here and in 0.4 miles, veer LEFT on the BLUE-BLAZED Lichen Trail and follow the blue blazes for 0.38 miles.  Make a RIGHT on the RED AND TEAL-BLAZED Long Path/A-SB Trail and in another half mile arrive at Times Square, a large intersection of hiking trails marked by a large boulder reading “TIMES SQUARE.” Turn a sharp RIGHT to stay on the RED-BLAZED A-SB Trail. Follow this back to its intersection with the LICHEN trail (0.63 miles later), and continue to stay with the RED BLAZES 1.75 miles back to your car.
