Distance: 7 miles as out & back; 4.5 miles as one-way to Route 94 Appalachian Trailhead Parking Area.
Time: 4-5 hours out & back; 2 hour one-way
Difficulty: Moderate, a little bushwacking involved.
Elevation Gain: 1,000 feet
Description: From 515 N, turn RIGHT at Breakneck Road. Make 4th LEFT into Dirt Parking Area with small pump house and pond. Facing away from Breakneck Road, turn LEFT and follow well-worn path into the woods. Within 0.58 miles, come to overlook. Follow trail to summit,1.74 miles from parking area. Stay on path, continuing beyond summit to rocky overlook. The trail is hard to find from here on in, so either turn around here, retracing your steps; or continue NORTH via bushwack to Pinwheel Vista (around 3.5 miles from parking area). Either return the way you came, or find and follow the WHITE-BLAZED Appalachian Trail and continue for 1.2 miles to the AT Route 94 Trailhead, where you can initially park a car.
