Trailhead Directions: From San Diego,  take I-15 North to turn left on North Twin Oaks Valley Road in San Marcos. Turn right on Discovery Street and continue onto Rush Drive. Turn right on Craven Road and left on Foxhall Drive. Park in the Discovery Lake parking lot.

Hike Directions: Pass Discovery Lake, then ascend to a water tower on the Double Peak Trail. Take this trail to the summit and return the way you came.
